Oh My God, stay away from this business!!! We purchased ride on toy as a Santa gift for our son, it stopped working and parts melted not even 12 months after purchase.
I have emailed, faxed attempted to call SoldSmart a number of times with no response. But funnily enough when I sent an enquiry about a purchase I had a response within an hour!!!
I left feedback on their Facebook page which was promptly deleted (3 times).
This business clearly has no intent of honouring warranties. They do not respond to complaints.
You may pay a bit extra buying items elsewhere, but honestly it will be worth it in the end.
First purchase from Soldsmart - SS pedal bin received 1.3.13 damaged due to no protective packaging - followed procedure sent photos and advice damaged not due to shipping agent but despatched in a plastic bag inside a light weight cardboard box. The trail of emails began - Offered a $26 refund - the purchase price was $77.70! Rejected this refund and told to return at my cost or accept $30 - returned bin. Eventually replacement received - packaged exactly the same and damaged so refused delivery and immediately advised Soldsmart why. No refund or response from Soldsmart therefore contacted Office of Fair Trading after negotiation Soldsmart requested to provide full refund but have now chosen to ignore all requests. First and only time I will buy from them - beware!
