Soltan Pepper

Amazing food, 1st Class service, nice ambience with old country homestead feel.

YUM! I was completely blown away by my meal at Soltan Pepper.

We went for a Friday night dinner. A friendly waitress greeted us and showed us to a table by the fireplace. The restaurant is spacious, with a casual ambience.

I was tempted by the special, 'Grilled Milhouse Scotch Fillet, Garlic Mash, Buttered Brocollini and Roasted Swiss Brown Mushrooms with Port Wine Jus'. The serving size was generous, typical for country dining. Each component of the dish was cooked perfectly. The steak was oh-so-tender. I loved the port wine jus, which had a hint of sweetness. Boyfriend was so impressed with the dish that he requested it to be put on the regular menu!

For dessert, I ordered the Apple Filo Crumble. The warm chunks of cinnamon-spiced apple pieces within the filo pastry was delicious with the smooth creamy vanilla ice-cream.

I highly recommend Soltan Pepper for a great meal at a reasonable price!

This local restaurant are open from Tues to Saturday (11am - Late), Sunday (9am - 4pm) and are closed on Mondays.
