Songbirds is a large, tranquil space with low walls opening out to the rainforest and gardens that surround the dining area. The overall effect is a sense of being in a ecofriendly building promoting a feeling of peace and an appreciation of the natural beauty. Chef de cuisine Trent Dawson prepares a menu loaded with local produce including entrees such as spiced organic beetroot terrine or pan roasted sea scallops. great location. pleasant service. food well presented , and very tasty, but miniscule serves. prices at upper end , and wine prices exorbitant.

but today, my wife and i, had 'white pyrenees lamb shanks'
they looked like lamb sausages,no bone, tasted like lamb sausages, but very dry. tasty enough, but unlike any lamb shanks i have ever eaten. very disappointed.
expect tasty food in minute serves at extraordinary prices, bearing little resemblance to the menu description.
