The people who are running the business are very unfriendly and uninterested, no one came over to say hello or asked if we needed any help.
When I asked about something the answer was short and surly, as if it was a big bother for them. They are not nice people, it was an awful experience to ever come across them. Stay away!
I read about this farm/cafe in the tourist and hotel literature and was excited to visit and get some produce. When I arrived a man and some boys were sitting at a table in the cafe. They exchanged glances with each other but ignored me (no one was behind the counter). Confused, I said hello, and asked if I was in the right place? The man said, "Yes, what do you want?" in a rude voice, and I could see they were all watching the cricket and didn't want me there. I asked if I could look at the products and he seemed really annoyed but let me. I bought some nuts, olive oil and jam and they are all lovely, but I dared not ask for a coffee or one of the 'delicious afternoon teas' I'd read about. I was so shocked at the way I was welcomed (or NOT welcomed!) that I will never go back. A very strange way to run a business. It made me feel horrible, like I had walked into their lounge-room uninvited.
I received some products, from Sonre Farm, for Christmas. What a treat!. There hot & spicey almonds were fantastic and the extra virgin olive oil was the best. If you can get a hold of any of these product, go for it in a big way. My sister lives in the area and I'll be asking her to pay avisit for me.
