Must do when travelling to Ayers Rock. We paid $ 199pp and had an unforgetable night out.
The sunset was beautiful and the food as absoluetly stunning. Entertainment with story telling and Didgeridoo performance and guided tour of the night sky was what we expected. Best thing the transfer from and to the hotel is included and you dont even have to drive and enjoy some wine.
When staying in the Red Centre, don't miss this amazing experience.
The evening starts with coaches taking you to a sunset viewing platform with Uluru on one side, and Kata Tjuta on the other,
Indigenous dancers entertain you whilst you much on crocodile & cucumber canapes as the sun sets.
You're soon led down to a pop up restaurant in the middle of the desert where you watch the sun finally go down and are served great Australian wines, and a truly Aussie feed. Lamb, barra, roo, croc is all on the menu.
But the magic happens when the lights are doused and you look heavenward in one of the darkest skies on earth to see the magic above A guide talks you through the constellations, telescopes are set up to view Saturn and the Milky Way is a stunning swathe across the sky.
Then don't miss the lemon myrtle pudding or rhubarb crumble to finish the night off. Definitely worth doing!
