Our made to measure couture service will always grant you the opportunity to wear garment that is far more superior to a ready to wear/off the rack garment.

You will always leave the Souraya boutique with a garment that compliments and fits your body shape down to the last stitch. The splendor of having a made to measure garment means you can see it all coming together, on you, during a creative process that gives you the opportunity to make any small changes along the way as we work closely to create your dream wedding gown, bridesmaid dress, evening gown or even that special day wear outfit.

Ideas or concepts, sketches and pictures are all welcome and they can all be created just for you. With Souraya's distinctive design skills we can work together with you to design and create a garment that completely encompasses your personality and taste in fashion. With up to five fittings (depending on the style of garment) you are sure to end up with exactly what you have been looking for. After we have sketched up a few designs and made a selection we are ready to pick fabrics, colours and any trims or fabric manipulation. We then move on to your fittings.

At Souraya we offer a range of exquisite fabrics sourced from places all around the world such as England, France and Italy. The fabrics we chose to work with are exclusive to Souraya and will not be found anywhere else in the world! This means you are guaranteed to stand out in the crowd!

Initially, your first fitting will be a calico (mock fabric). The calico is a stage we like to refer to as more for he designer than it is for you, as the calico seems to be far less luxurious than the stunning fabrics we like to use! The calico is the very beginning of the made to measure process and from there on, you see the gown to the finish.
