The venue is complete with dark wooden furniture, cosy banquettes, long dry bars beneath bi-fold windows complete with an open fireplace. Being a corner site the venues bi-fold windows open up the space on two sides with a substantial outdoor corner seating area to accommodate al fresco imbibers.
Sousoul provides a selection of share-plate style culinary offerings, along with a collection of innovative and gastronomy-influenced beverages that invites Melbourne's late-night revellers to return to a responsible enjoyment of quality cocktails, expertly matched food and wine, and great company within an enchantingly cosy ambience. In an endeavour to add a distinctive zing to their galaxy of beverages, Sousoul's maestros have created a cocktail list that aims to accommodate the uniqueness of each individual drinker by categorising drinks according to their flavour profile, guiding the imbiber towards their palate's preferences. To cater to small groups they have also created a selection of punches and sangarees put together with fresh fruits, herbs and house-made syrups and liqueurs.

I dont usually post reviews but sometimes the total package is so bad or so good that sometimes i feel compelled to. Sou Soul i found wat the later. i stumbled across this little cocktail bar on the way to Chapel street from the station and stopped for a quick beer and a shot. Next thing i know i have convinced my friends to come join me from the bar we were meant to meet at and had an absolutely amazing night. the service was amazing and very personable and the cocktails were impecable. I dont usually drink cocktails but the knowlegeable staff and the extensive cocktail list really sparked my interest. All in all job well done and i will definatley be back. J

Best cocktails in town!
I visited this cool little urban retreat in the heart of Prahran not expecting to be wowed the way I was... Blink and you'll miss this gorgeous Asian-luxe designed quaint corner bar on Greville St. But what it lacks in size it surely does not lack in atmosphere, cool factor, funky beats and some of the freshest, tastiest and most innovative cocktails I've tasted in Melbourne to date!! i like to think of myself as a pretty seasoned campaigner when it comes to cocktails, but i have never been so impressed with the cocktail selection than i experienced at Sousoul last night. These guys are like scientists, with concepts that are so orginal and inspiring it boggles the mind. I went in to try 1 and walked out after trying 7!! The flavours are not variations on old themes, they are completely new concepts. The cocktails i tried had a miriad of subtle flavours that complemented each other perfectly, not to mention the unique cups and glass wear they are served in. I am making it my mission to work my way through the entire list. The staff are awesome as well and are more than happy to chat with you about their passion for booze and explain the different techniques they are using to you. Love this place, love it love i love it...
One of my favorite bars in Melbourne, It has the best cocktails and a nice selection of tapas, all well presented. The open fireplace creates a warm atmosphere and the service is excellent! Well done Ritchie! xx
This is and has been my favorite places to go since the day it opened. Whether it be for a coffee, bottle of wine with a friend next to the fire or a crazy night out trying out the WHOLE cocktail list over the course of an evening.. (& this is impossible.. let me tell you!!) it manages to make you feel comfortable while knowing you are in the most capable and creative hands of the brilliant and beautiful staff.
I have been in hospitality for a long time and also love going out and can not tell you how amazingly this 'little in size, but big in vibe' cocktail bar is run.
There is also great live music (cant wait for the summer) and dont get me started on the food!! Please please never ever take the quail off the menu..
