South East Queensland UHF Emergency Service Team - SEQUEST

SEQUEST is made up of volunteers who are trained in the safety of life radio calls from members of public on CB & Marine radio registered as a Limited Coast Marine Rescue Station.
Our volunteers monitor the citizen band & marine radio networks for distress & safety calls and other routine general calls
We have direct contact with emergency & other services to organise assistance and have taken a range of calls from traffic accidents, breakdowns, fires, and other emergencies often made by radio users and also have a role in social media keeping communities updated with weather, accidents missing persons and any other interests which may benefit the community. and we also have an emergency communications management plan in place.

The safety Service's provided by SEQUEST is available to all users on a nil-fee-for-service basis.
