South Melbourne Amcal Pharmacy

Excellent customer service and friendly staff, I use this pharmacy for my whole family.

I'm not one to write reviews...But I have just walked out of Amcal Max south Melbourne Pharmacy, and it is so refreshing to have received the customer service and invaluable advice that I was given from both the pharmacy staff and the Pharmacist. I am pregnant, and went to pick up my usual coldsore cream, completely unaware that this product was not actually suitable for me during my pregnancy. They were quick to educate me on this, and reccomend an alternative.
I will return to this pharmacy as I found both the personalised advice, and customer service was just a cut above other pharmacy experiences I have had!

Wow, I am completely disgusted at the service. Surprised that it can be so bad at a place that people come to for professional health advice. I am not one to write reviews but I am so appalled at how rude the staff were and as a health professional myself am ashamed that such staff are hired. Definitely would not recommend my family and friends to go here.

Very rude staff. I'm a local, and I've been here quite a few times. I only go in when I absolutely have to, as the staff are rude every time. Especially if you have the audacity to ask for help or advice. I go out of my way to go to other chemists to avoid this one. Pricing is about average for the area (ie higher than most places) but it's the staff that make me avoid it.
