I was recently charged $9.65 as a coin handling fee for approx. $200 of coin already counted and bagged. Unless one checks SCU's list of charges online one has to rely on the courtesy of the teller to inform one before the transaction is made. I didn't receive this courtesy, hence the charity for whom the money was intended, missed out on $9.65.
Pehaps SCU might address my concern as this is the type of issue which contributes to banking institutions getting a bad name.
