Southern Cross Medical Imaging (SCMI) is a private, non-corporate radiology service with four branches in Melbourne's Northern Suburbs. SCMI specialises in musculoskeletal and interventional imaging and offers a wide range of interventional and diagnostic services. At our AXIS Centre branch we offer CT, MRI, X-ray and ultrasound facilities. Our motto is "Where Quality Counts" and our goal is a premium customer service which we achieve through implementing up-to-date equipment, employing professional and experienced staff, and considering the individual requirements of each patient and referrer.

Waiting lists are low and urgent cases can be accommodated on the day.

Medicare rebates are available on imaging requests meeting the Medicare criteria.
