Southern Hotel

This pub really didn't do all that much for me, but then that is probably because there are only two parts to this pub: the restaurant at the front and the pokies out the back. Okay, they do have play equipment which suggests that they are trying to be a family restaurant, but then I have never been all that thrilled with having a family restaurant in the same building a pokie machines (despite children not being allow in there, they can still here all the sounds emanating from the room). There was no appreciable beer garden, but then again I really can't expect every pub to have one, though they do have what I term as a 'smoker's cage' which does have a couple of comfortable seats. They also had a nice display of local beer and wine, however that wasn't enough to lift this place in my books.
