Southern Schools of Aikido

Offering the martial art of Aikido to children over the age of 6. classes are held on Tuesday evenings 5-6pm for 6 years and over and on Wednesday evenings 5-6pm for 12 years and over.

Aikido is a non-competitive art, it is done in partnered practice with one person the doer of the technique and the other the receiver of technique, then the roles are reversed.

Southern Schools of Aikido is an organisation solely dedicated to the teaching and tuition of children.

As children progress through the ranks they in turn become the role models for the junior students starting out. this creates a unique community feel to the club whilst everyone supports each other through their learning.
