After reading the previous review, I felt compelled to give another account of this shop. We have recently moved to Edithvale and were looking for a new fish and chips shop. After trying a few in the local area, my wife and I are very pleased to have found Southern Seas. The burgers are great and the fish is big and cooked in a great batter. Min chips is just 2.50 and are great. Overall, I can highly recommend this fish and chips shop.
Poor customer service and communication. I was told my phone order would be 15 minutes, but it took 30 minutes. When we got home, part of the order was missing, so I had to go back. When I explained my dissatisfaction with having a late order, PLUS part of the order missing, all I got was a 'sorry'. They didn't even throw in an extra potato cake for being totally inconvenienced! I wont be going back there again.
