Southport Tourist Park is located at the bustling northern end of the Gold Coast and a whisker away from the dazzling nightlife for singles, families or groups in a variety of accommodation styles. Shop till you drop at Australia Fair, or outlet centre Harbour Town,visit the theme parks which are between 10 and 20 minutes by car, or enjoy many of the hundreds of attractions available to you. Rude unprofessional management. Park and yemon units should be closed down, they are filthy and entry doors have been broken making the place unsafe. Furnishing do not meet safety requirements as things are dirty and broken. The bunks did not have safety rails or ladders...surely occupational health and safety issue there. Because it was so filthy and unsafe we did not want to stay even though we had paid for ten nights. They refused to refund any money and kept our 1800 dollars even though we had only stayed one night and that was under sufference. How does they continue to treat people this way and get away with it. Unsatisfactory accommodation should be refundable.
