Staff very rude and inexperienced! We were made out to be liars because THEY cannot get the order correct. Ordered 3 mixed souva meals to find they put the order down as just souvas (not in a meal) had to wait for chips to be cooked then were made out as liars while the staff were chatting in front of us. By the time the meals were done the meat was cold and chewy. Please learn to repeat orders taken over the phone and some basic customer service skills. Prehaps the money hungry management should invest in staff other than staff that have zero people skills. Wouldn't not recommend to anybody to eat here. You've lost yourself a loyal customer.
If you like meat cooked over a charcol grill! Then eat some where else. The meat is heated over the coals for display only. The meat is cut raw from the spit then microwaved and finished off on the grill. Not what your paying for. To top it off they are so slow. 40 min for a microwave meal.
The problem with many take-away hot chips (a.k.a. French fries) is variability, and Souvalicious is no exception. Depending on the day, time, and moon phase of one's visit, the skinny chips served here may be crispily delicious; assertive to the bite and conciliatory to the tastebuds. On other occasions, however, they may be woefully soggy; 'shoestring' in style, price, and also in their ability to be tied in knots without snapping. As with any other form of gambling, whether one returns to a given fast-food outlet for another round of French-fry roulette depends on two factors: the odds of losing, and the payoff of winning. In the case of Souvalicious, I will certainly be back. Disappointing serves of chips are rare, and, for those dining nearby, crispiness can be maximised by tearing makeshift steam-vents in the paper wrapping.
