This is THE cupcake store. Delicious lightly fluffed cakes with delicate icing in a wide variety of flavours. Head on into their store in Surry Hills on Foveaux Street for your cupcake needs/wants desires. This place has the options for everyone including those who need gluten free cupcakes. This store is heaven and if you want to give someone a treat grab them a box of all flavours. Personally, jump onto the Never Enough Nutella or the Red Velvet cakes. Possibly the cutest thing we saw in there this weekend however, were their pup-cakes!!! Because who doesn’t want to pamper their pups with their own delicious tasty treats. Not cheap at $4.80 but they taste beautiful

Ahhh Sparkles cupcakes..little sugary bites of amazing. I have ordered personalised cupcakes and specialty cakes from here numerous times and they never disappoint! It is such a nice touch for someone's birthday, baby shower or whatever other occasion requires cake. The online ordering system is super easy to use and I find the staff are helpful and generally can accommodate your needs if you let them know. The only thing I could possibly complain about is that they are pricey, but happiness comes at a price am I right?

Delicious cupcakes that come in wonderful flavours. They are great as a gift as they come in a slick black and silver box and the presentation is great. I highly recommend the chocolate cupcakes with chocolate sprinkles.

I am sharing my experience because it was so bad I really don't want this to happen to anyone else. I ordered 12 cupcakes as a gift to be delivered to my Mum for her 80th. They looked great. We went to a restuarant for dinner and my Mum wanted to bring the cupcakes for her celebration instead of buying another cake. We paid $3 cakeage to have the cupcakes with our coffee after dinner. After 1 bite everyone looked at each other and reached for drink. The Sparkle cupcakes were so dry they couldn't be swallowed. The frosting was rock hard and the cake was so crumbly and dry it was actually inedible. That night I emailed Sparkle and received a reply the next day telling me I shouldn't have ordered gluten free cakes as they can be dry. They did offer to send me another 12 but I really don't want to 'try' their cupcakes again. I have since read many other poor reviews along the same lines. I recently hosted a hen's party at Sparkle Cupcakery - this was the worse decision of my life!! After booking 3 months in advance I rang up to pay the remaining balance of my booking 2 weeks prior to be told they couldn't find my booking and at someone would call me back - 3 emails and 2 phone calls later the management finally called me back to confirm the details of my booking - which was canaps/cupcakes/champagne and a cupcake decorating class. We arrived on the day to be rudely told they didn't have me booked for a class and I needed to show them my booking confirmation, I showed them the information only to be told I had to wait for the management to arrive to set up. They arrived 30 minutes prior to our event finishing and tried to tell me they could run 3 classes. When I said I was uncomfortable with this they ran upstairs and started setting up.
