We Bought a Spec Property Apartment in South Yarra. This is the 3rd apartment we have bought of the plan, and we had a great experience. We are really happy the after care service, much of what we needed was done within the day. We are grateful that Spec responds to our concerns (unlike our experiance with another developer). Thank you Paul for your good work.
Although we are happy enough in our apartment the reality of dealing with Spec Property does not live up to their promises. Once you have settled on your property you are palmed off to a "client relations" person who does nothing. 5 months after moving in to our apartment at 80% of defects are not fixed and no real idea of if they will be fixed or not. The quality of some fittings is not as promised and they changed so many items from what was in their display showroom you have to wonder why they built it in the first place! Communication could fix most problems but they are unwilling to listen. I'd advise people to tread very carefully when dealing with them and ask to speak to actual real past customers and not just listen to the sales people.
