Specialised Painting Solutions

We contracted Sam to paint the whole interior of our smallish 3 bedroom house mainly due to the glowing reviews here ... I don't know what happened with us but unfortunately our experience was very different. We paid just shy of $10,000 and recieved a job that, (only after we complained), took the two of them 5 hours to fix some of the mistakes made - such things as paint drips, paint runs, cracks in the cornices, sides of windowsills not painted, visible lumps under the paint, paint spatter on our new hardwood floors as well as on the tiled floors in the bathroom and laundry. We explained that we weren't happy and asked for the ceiling in the living areas to be given another coat as well as the feature wall in the family room and were told 'no, it was to fair trading standards'. None of the tops or bottoms of any of the doors were painted, as well as all the tops of all doorways, I was told that 'no-one does that'. So happy with their work. Very professional and very fast.
Sam is such a happy character and they are really nice to have around.

Not only is Sam a fantastic painter, but he also points out other problem areas (like rotting wood) and fixes them without any fuss.

Sam has done an amazing job on the exterior paintwork of our 100-year-old house. Attention to detail and quality of finishes are outstanding, and Sam made many suggestions (for example on the treatment for the deck and the fittings on the front door) that ended up making our run-down cottage look brand new. It was exceptional value for the cost as it's added considerably to the value of our property. We'll definitely be getting Sam back to do our interior painting when the rest of the renovations are finished.
