Ordered a pair of contact lenses and as I have worn contact lenses for many years, arranged that I will not have to do a fitting. I was called to come and pick the lenses up. When I arrived I was suddenly told that I have to do a fitting and as the optometrist was not there I will have to come back. The very rude and unhelpful girl that assisted me had no interest in the fact that I have made an arrangement to pick the lenses up only, as I have worn a the lenses for many years.
It is extremely frustrating to deal with businesses that employ staff or procedures that create an opportunity to completely ignore prior arrangements with customers, waste their time and leave a lasting negative impression that will see me avoid Specsavers in future. What a dissapointment!
After 4 eye tests and 3 contact lense fittings in 7 months i still do not have the correct lenses. I now have yo wait another week and go in for another fitting and examination. I believe they are doing this to make more money from medicare. I had a recent perscription and was told I have to have a full eye exam again. Anyway Im going elsewhere
