Specsavers Optometrists
I was here this afternoon to book in a time to get my eyes checked after receiving a reminder in the mail. The service was quite prompt, with a fellow approaching me within minutes awaiting at the reception. Friendly service and efficient. Had a quick browse over their range and offer, appears to have a number of different offers however all depends on the private health cover you may have and whether there will be a gap difference. I found it to be fairly busy given that it was a Monday.
Been here recently to get an update on my prescription as I mainly wear contact lenses. Staff were helpful but it felt as though they were really pushing me to buy a pair of glasses. However, the eye check-up itself was probably the most comprehensive I've ever had, and that's spanning over 2 decades. Although I didn't buy anything on this day, I will be back as there always seems to be a sale on.
Almost closing time to Highpoint Shopping Centre and we quickly popped into specsavers so my husband can take up their wonderful offer of $200 for 2 pairs. Wasn't too sure if they could fit an appointment in so we took our luck without making a booking. As soon as we walked in the staff was very helpful. She checked the schedule and put my husband in immediately. He had his eyes checked and soon enough he was was picking his style of glasses. The staff were helpful in helping him pick to suit the shape of his face. He was happy with the selection and is now waiting for a call to lick them up. The overall experience was good as it was my husbands first time and he felt looked after and was explained everything even about how his private health insurance works and entitlements. And not to mention the selection of frames at Highpoint seems to be a lot more variety than others.
I returned here a few days ago to have a look at the sunglass range for my little toddler. The selection was quite limited, but again for a small toddler there was no major fuss regarding style, fittings, color or image. It was simply getting them a proper pair of sunglasses that included UV protection unlike the cheap toy ones that you tend to find near cash registers at toy shops. With the private health insurance the offer was 2 pair of sunglasses with no gap, quite an attractive deal. The staff was professional and efficient. Its quite a busy store; to get hold of someone to assist did take some time, nevertheless, we were able to get our little ones eyes examined, select the glasses and place the order all in one day.
One of the largest franchise across Australia at the moment for optical needs. They are almost everywhere from the major shopping centre to most major cities across Australia. Over the last few years they seem to have heavily invested in marketing their brands on television prime time and promoting their heavily discounted glasses. In comparison to other optical, they seem to have the most offer at any given time and most deals are quite attractive in avoiding any additional GAP for those on private health insurance. Some promotions include; Free Polarised Prescription Sunglasses , 25% off 1 pair for students, Complete glasses from $39, $50 off contact lenses when you spend $199, Designer Glasses from $99. The only downfall Ive found with my last purchase from them with these promotions are the range they have are quite limited and not always the nicer so called designer brands. If you wanted the nicer pair, of course it would be in the next price range ...read more
