I made an appointment for my son and they just left us waiting for ever, the young guy working there loves playing with his frame glasses before offers any help, there are lots of other eye test centres who offer even better prices, these ones at Australia affair are rip offs any way, cheap $2 Chinese frames
After finding out there was a fault in my glasses after visiting another Optometrist due to having severe headaches and burning sensation in my eyes for 4 months, I returned to Southport Specsavers to address my concern. Initially I was sent away and instructed to change my work surroundings (natural light) however this did not prove successful. I returned to Southport Specsavers to be told by the owner that he will change my glasses to the prescription suggested by another Optometrist and then quote “HE WILL NEVER DO MY GLASSES AGAIN”. Not only was I very disappointed and did not feel welcome in the store, but I was totally humiliated by his comments. This was the most unpleasant experience, and I will not be returning to Specsavers nor recommending Specsavers to fellow friends and family.
Not happy. Gave my appointment away (without calling me) when i was 4 minutes late. No phone call or apology, they just expected me to wait 40mins. Staff were and unhelpful (not just on this visit). This time was the last straw! I have since gone to a smaller company and received the customer service i believe i should have received being a customer for many years.
