Great value for food and wine too! All ingredients used at the Spiral Shell Wine Bistro are fresh and the dishes are both creative and exotic, or true and traditional for the less adventurous.
Spiral Shell sea snails with kamara, salsa and wakame seaweed is the signature dish, along with shark, eel, seafood, steak, soups, salads, pasta, kangaroo, crocodile and other goodies. Desserts are absolutely delicious. They are varied and made daily. Three serve sizes are available: entree, medium and large your choice. For those with diet restrictions, fear not! Vegetarians, vegans, coeliacs, lactose intolerant, diabetics, and food allergy customers are well looked after too. If you require something special all you have to do is ask. Try the puff pastry vegetable stack with a combination of oven roasted and steamed vegetables.

This Restaurant is the most interesting place very homely and the dacor is so much like the name. The food was great the wines superb and the owners knowledge of wine is nothing but stunning. Being a wine lecturer of international standards for years has certainly paid of for her. the Restaurant is in a building that was the first post office in south australia. and its open for meals when the hotels are closed.
