Peter is a 1 man band. There is no depth to splash on at all. He uses contractors for everything. Which is fine until something goes wrong. My pool has many leaks on the front out of ground face clearly visible. Peter himself has tried to fix them 4 times over 4 months instead of paying an experienced professional hes just trying to save money at my expense. I still hadn't paid him the final instalment so he was motivated to fix it. BUT he kept demanding payment the whole time, even though the pool leaks had not been fixed with the last letter I got a threat of legal action. I have now paid. So Peter came straight around ripped the tiles off on his latest attempt to fix them and now ive heard nothing from him for 6 weeks. The site is unfinished and unsightly and exactly what I thought he would do as soon as he got his money he disappears. Its the reason i had held payment in the first place. I called QBCC and they said they can force him to do the work so going through ...read more
They installed my pool and now its crumbling. When they viewed it they attempted to blame everything else but their installation of the pool. Since then I have called them more than 10 times left messages and have had no reply back. I DO NOT recommend Splash On pools and would advise everyone to steer clear. Unfortunately it now appears that I will have to take the legal route to get my pool fixed.

There is a hairline crack in the pebble interior over a 2 meter run where the tiling laid by his own sub-contractors has no expansion joint and has pushed on the pool causing the crack. The pool still looks as good as the day it was installed and to say it is crumbling is nonsense. We generally go above and beyond our requirements however a line must be drawn.
If you are going to do work around a pool, make sure it is done properly or have us do it in a professional manner
I hardly think chunks of pebble crete falling into my pool is a hairline crack. I have had a structural engineer check it out and there are expansion joints where they need to be. It is very disappointing that you can not even face your responsibilities and comment on this forum when you will not even take my calls . This shows a complete lack of professionalism on your part and an unwillingness to rectify your poor workmanship. DO NOT use Splash On pools they will take your money and then disappear. Rest assurred I will be taking this matter further, you have had every opportunity to work WITH me to fix this problem but your complete lack of integrity over this is quite disgusting.
