Sport Pilot Flying School is is owned and operated by Chief Flying Instructor, Paul Hewitt. Paul has been in the aviation industry for over 26 years with in excess of 2700 hours flying experience. He started his aviation career in Western Australia as a Commercial Pilot flying cropspraying aircraft.

In 1989 he started Skyworx Aviation towing advertising banners along Perth beaches then branched out into Charter and Aerial work mainly flying Japanese tourists to WAâ??s premier tourist destinations. In 2007 Paul sold up and moved to beautiful Innisfail in Far North Queensland where he built and test flew his own Searey amphibious aircraft and has now decided to pass on his extensive aeronautical knowledge to others by starting the Sport Pilot Flying School.
