Brendan conducted a site visit and gave a quote to replace eaves and gutters. After we had paid a deposit, he said that he was not able to do all the work he had quoted on and that he would meet with us to discuss options. He never showed up, multiple calls and requests to reimburse our deposit have been ignored. Have gone the Fair Trade route, still trying to get our money back.
We had a severe storm in our area. Our roof was leaking substantially and we had Brendan and his colleague fix our roof within a week. Brendan spent less than 2minutes on the roof. He applied a black patch approximately 50x50cm and said it would adhere to the roof with the sun's heat. We were advised it had been fixed and would come with a warranty. He said he would send us the receipt later but he had to go to the next job. We paid $600 cash.
The next time it rained, we noticed a leak from the same spot. It is within 6months of the repair. We have tried to contact him to fix the roof but he won't contact us back.
Since we haven't received a receipt we are having difficulty pursuing any legal avenues.
You are not alnone my friend. Same happened to me. This seems to be their habit. I'm going to get my lawyer involved soon. There is a case pending with Fair trading NSW at the moment. Waiting for their response.
Brandan came out and assessed the leak issue in less than 2 minutes. Smeared some silicone on a few joints in 1 minute and got his money in a flash. Only a month later, more water came through the roof and caused more damage to the ceiling. He ignored my sms. I would not recommend him.
Worst service ever received. Brian came with his mate and was late then proceeded to fix the roof, took 15 mins and then took cash and said he would mail the receipt but never did even after I followed up a number of times, then it rained again and the same area was leaking. I tried to contact Brian but no response and he refused to answer my SMS or phone calls. DO NOT USE this company they are a rip off and not aware of how to fix anything I would not recommend them at all, better to find another.
(SOS Roofing) Brendan came out gave a quote to repair the capping. Price was high but needed the job done quickly. Came and did a terrible job capping looks like e just slapped it on and left some capping with no mortice. Rang several times said he would be back, it is now been a week and nothing. Honestly do not let him on your roof to do any repairs he has devalued my home by 10's of thousand of dollars because of his poor workmanship. He takes no pride in his work. Will be taking this futher.
