Spotlight

Been there twice. Both times the staff were rude, condescending and extremely unhelpful. Second visit I was threatened by staff member. Worst Spotlight I've ever been too. They win. I will never return.

the prices and sales - when on are GREAT!

but thats pretty much it. the selection is usually good for everything, but the store is always busy and always runs out of stock that isnt material.

I think the store is messier than most, and probably should have more staff on to manage the amount of people in the material section and tidy up the store.

I always get my helium tanks (Set for $50) from here, but the last time we got one for a special event, the tank was half full. It only filled half the balloons I had purchased for the day. I rang and told them what had happened the next day as the day we used the tank was busy and I got the feeling that they didn't believe me, like I really have time to bother driving back and fourth to melrose park to waste my petrol and let's face it, it ain't cheap. She ended up giving me half my money back cause only half was empty... Hang on, I've had to come here twice now and the balloons didn't fill the hall and was such an inconvenience for me with all this running around... Go to buy balloons and helium tank... Take them to event the next day, run out of the helium to decorate the hall... Go home after a long day, then head back to the shop... I.wouldn't imagine they would get too many of these complaints..Not impressed.

I love Spotlight at Edwardstown.

They have a great range of curtains and manchester. I recommend them to family and friends (I recently took my grandmother there) It is my all time favourite homewares store.
