Springbrook Lyre Bird Retreat

If there were more than 5 stars, i would use them i promise.

My husband and i have been here twice, once for my birthday and once for our wedding anniversary.

It is amazingly quiet and gorgeous.

you are in a beautifully decorated cabin (more like a little house), with a fireplace, tv/dvd, huge spa, all self contained, white leather lounge, big king size bed and you are not near anybody.

There are only 4 cabins and you need to be lucky to get a weekend because they are always booked out, especially in winter.



There is no everday noises, just beautiful birds all day and into the evening, we were lucky to see possums at our back patio.

I have lived on the Gold Coast all my life and i only discovered this beautiful place 2 years ago.
