Springwood Veterinary Clinic

This is a fantastic Veterinary Clinic, best (in my view) in the Mountains. They DO NOT overcharge, are compassionate and the service they have shown my little Maltese, Winston was above and beyond any vet care I've had with any animal over the many many years. Would HIGHLY recommend this Vet clinic

On their website it lists that they can look at birds. I took my 10 month old pet budgie in, after he had seemed unwell for a couple of days. The vet referred to her textbooks before telling me that he seemed healthy, and that I should change his diet so that he had a bit more nutrition. Whilst I was there, my budgie began to vomit after being handled by the vet. The vet did not even recognise this as vomiting when I asked what he was doing. When I suggested that he might be vomiting, she didn't even know, despite him craning his neck and shaking vomit out of his mouth. A week later my budgie died. They may know about dogs and cats, but don't take your bird there. Travel the distance to take your bird to a proper avian vet, like they should have told me to do!

Fantastic vets, really care about you and your beloved pet and they have fantastic customer service. Absolutely recommend to anyone with their pet! Their treatment of our family and our family dog has been absolutely amazing.
