We use to thoroughly enjoy this place however the menu has changed significantly. That isn’t the reason for the poor review - the terrible customer service is. Rude, inattentive wait staff who make it obvious they aren’t wanting to be there.
Serving size also decreased while price has increased. Had pancakes which could only eat a small portion of as they were well undercooked (thankfully the item was refunded). $6.50 for a tiny amount of avocado (less than a quarter). My wife did enjoy her latte.

We won’t be back

Great vibe for this place on a Saturday for lunch. It seems less busy as other places around the area. Seated after 10 min and had our orders taken and did come out faster than expected. I ordered the daddy and friend ordered one of the summer salad. Also ordered a milk ice coffee (creatively served in a beer bottle) and had a nice selection of press juices. Another great place for those coffee lovers. They also have different prices for take away and dine in coffee and for the salad, about $5 more expensive.

As one of a bigger space cafe, this place was still packed with queue outside in the cold rainy winter mid-morning of a weekend. First time here, inside there are tightly spaces seats and quite noisy with all the crowds enjoying breakfast, coffee and a chat. Great service, food came out quite fast for their busy-ness. Lovely cafe and breakfast. Will definitely go back.

If you're after a weekend brunch here then I strongly recommend getting here early as it gets rather busy. But once seated it's a great place to relax and soak in the busy atmosphere of South Melbourne. The staff were very friendly here and although busy, I found that they didn't rush us out of there. We ordered the 63 degrees egg here, I've never had it anywhere else so I can't compare, but what I could say about them were they were delicious. If that's how 63 degree eggs are meant to be then I think I found my new favourite way of eating eggs.
