St Arnaud is a budget bed & breakfast guest house fantastically located at the Botanical Gardens in South Yarra - Melbourne's best post code - with trams running along our tree lined historical street that will take you into the city (5 minutes) or down to St Kilda's beaches (10 minutes). We now have Wireless Internet access throughout the building.... Over 50 rooms with colour television, fridge, microwave, kettle, wardrobe and dresser. All linen and towels are provided. We include a help yourself continental breakfast in the price and you also have full use of our well equipped kitchen. Our help yourself breakfast consists of tea, coffee, cereals, toast, preserves and juice. Complimentary tea and coffee available at all times. None of our rooms have en-suite but there are plenty of bathrooms located in the corridors nearby. We have a dining area and cosy lounge for your comfort with cable television, internet cafe, video and DVD player plus a small garden at the rear. Please note there is only stair access to rooms but we will be happy to help you with your bags! There is plenty to do in the local area and the tram runs outside our front door. The Botanical Gardens, National Gallery of Victoria, MCG, Tennis Arena, Chapel Street, Southbank casino, markets and Bridge Rd discount shopping are all within walking distance. We will be happy to arrange car hire or tour bookings if you fancy a trip to the Great Ocean road or any of Melbourne's other attractions. We offer great rates on group bookings and for longer stays.
