I ordered the special that was on the board which was 2 beef patties with eggs and herb potato cake. This also came with a side of chips as well. This was a generous serving however, the taste was average. The coffee here was good but also nothing special. Staff was very friendly, nice and attentive. It was a lovely place, beautifully decorated and organised.
Situated in Docklands corporate district, this café, located in the former MediBank building is large with a variety of furnishings from comfy booths (that come with power stations) to outside table settings. I came here for a business lunch, and was surprised to see they had an all-day breakfast menu.
I had the Corn fritters, which came with a poached egg as well as herb sour cream and sumac. The fritters were lovely and light. The poached egg runny and well-seasoned. My colleague had the marinated lamb loin on a Mediterranean warm roasted vegetable salad. It was a very generous serving with the lamb being cooked to perfection.
The staff here a very friendly and accommodating, with good coffee to boot. Definitely worth a visit when in the Docklands area.
