St George Cakes & Gelati

Thanks for the great service, made my daughter's birthday so special.

We had family fly from all over Australia for my grandmas 85th birthday today and her birthday cake was shameful and totally embarrassing to say the least. Being of European descent and quality home grown cooks you chose the wrong people to offload a ????? Weeks plus old cake. My auntie spent over $150 with continental cakes for afternoon tea which were also stale.. absolutely appalling .... obviously it's not the same owners / passion and pride in quality as was some years ago.

We had a cake for my dads 70th birthday. Truely aweful. Icing far too thick and sticky, sponge dry and grainy.

Real disappointment

Let's be clear this is .not about the bakery. St George's cakes have made 5 Celebration cakes for me over 20 years. They have always be professional, reasonably priced but most of all YUMMY. The last one two weeks ago was a cannoli cake for an 18 th that looked and tasted amazingly wonderful. I was just about to order another cake and saw the reviews....the bad ones are for another business......

Great products at a great price! Would have to say that they make the best cannolis! :)
