Today it is 39 degrees. Came here for a lunch in a cool club onlyto find that the large bi-fold doors leading to the deck have to be left open -because there is live music at 1pm but our arrival was 11.30 not sure why but maybe the club needs to review in extremely hot weather. Very poor and inconsiderate to your patrons.
My partner and I decided to stop for breakfast here after getting off a 15 hour flight. We both ordered the rowers eggs benedict (I asked for mushrooms instead of the spinach) and when our food came out the hollandaise sauce looked like melted butter with clumps of hard butter scattered around the dish. My partner ate about half of his and I only ate about a quarter of mine, there was no taste off the sauce, it was just like eating clumps of oily butter so my partner brought his plate up and showed staff. He just wanted some fresh sauce poured on top.
The female chef in the kitchen told him to leave the plate with them. The waitress came back about 15 minutes later with a small jug of hollandaise sauce ...read more
DO NOT EVER HOLD AN EVENT HERE!
I had my party at this venue recently and it was absolutely appauling how poorly it was run and how I was treated. The food was disgusting, burnt and there was not enough of it. We catered for 100 people and most didn't even see the food. They wre not flexible with the menu and were asking for ridiculously overpriced amounts to try and subsitute some of the items on the cocktail menu. For the amount we paid for the venue, catering and the bar tab, the service was poor and their employee's were untrained and inexperienced, the organisation was disgraceful as they kept interupting my night to ask silly questions and argue about turning the lights off.
I can not express my frustration, disappointment and utter sadness that my night was dampened by such a horrible place! #reviewtowin
We live near this club and have been here a few times. They have a lovely balcony which they are just about to renovate. I think they have a new chef as the menu was different. A nice mix of traditional club food and some lighter options also. They also have kids meals and a little activity bag which keeps them occupied. They also usually have a band on Sundays.
Went today here for the first time and the customer service is terrible! As soon as I arrived parked in the car park to be greeting by a staff who told me extremely rudely to move my car as they wanted to park a van there! Went inside to use the elevator which is only big enough for 2 people and can only be operated by the staff members had to ring it twice before anyone would come then get rude again because I should have just done it myself even though you need a key to operate it! When I got up stairs they rudely told out to not ring the button to just yell in future and someone can help me?! At this point I was on the verge of just walking out but stayed for the markets and my partner went and got a drink from the bar with my toddler who was strapped into his pram and also got some change for the vending machine which is about 4 metres away. He left my son there with his drink and was within eye shot and not far away and when he got back was treated ...read more
