I finally managed to get around to visiting this fish and chip shop after passing it numerous times while on a tram. Well, as it turns out, this place certainly served up a pretty awesome serving of fish and chips, and did some quite nice dim sims as well. In fact the chips were quite good. The other thing was that the price wasn’t all that bad either. I guess it was worth taking a bit of a detour to come here to grab my evening meal.
I've been to this place regularly for around five years and the service has always been very friendly and polite. Food is pretty good. I mean it's not 5-star cuisine, it's fish-and-chips but ingredients are fresh and it's cooked well. Also, that review seems a bit suss when the food is suddenly overpriced when this wasn't mentioned before? Oh well. I can't say how it rates with the rest of Melbourne but it's the fisho I go to first in the Inner North.
