What a terrible environment. My child lasted one term at this school. The culture of the school is shame based with hard verbal discipline and the Principal is the worst “leader” the school could have and she needs to be moved on. Their concepts and learning styles are out dated and they have a terrible “learning” support where children are sent to play with iPads and technology. The female teachers speak terribly to the children and parents are not welcomed into the school. There is no community spirit and you will probably not know how your child is going as your teacher won’t acknowledge you. If you are new to Googong definitely have a meeting with the Principal at Queanbeyan South and you will be making a great decision for your child’s emotional and educational needs. I am so happy I moved my son best decision I made.
