St Ives Village Nursery

I found the staff helpful. I purchased a Jalapeno plant from them last year. It grew very well and was very healthy. The Jalapeno plants were great.

I also brought some grass seeds. This wasn't the best experience. I wanted some advice but the staff said they didn't know too much about grass seeds.

I think the prices are little on the high side. The plants I have bought seem to be very healthy, contrary to the review below.

Parking is a bit difficult. Try and go down a side street!

Bought a 1.8m weeping cherry in November 2014 at St Ives Nursery. It did not have many leaves on it but I thought that it was due to being in the shade. However when I planted it, it was apparent the root system had been badly damaged which was why the tree was weak. It subsequently died within weeks of planting. I went back with the receipt expecting some kind of replacement, maybe at least a discount, but they were not interested. They get the trees in bare rooted then pot them up in late winter to early spring. They knew the tree was weak and probably wouldn't recover and they sold off their problem to me at $145. Poor business principles so I won't ever be back and I am a customer who spends a lot on my garden.
