Very poor customer service. They are not friendly at all. They dont want to smile. I thought ill go back and see if they are rude again and yep! Im not happy, the management needs to get some new staff that can actually smile and give a good experience for its customers.
My experiences at St kilda West Post Office have been the complete opposite of those listed below, I go in there most days now and find the service exceptional even when staff are very busy, I have picked up parcels outside of normal hours and have even sent a parcel overseas on Sunday - not many places in Melbourne you can do that ! I believe there has been a recent change in management so perhaps things have turned around since the reviews below.
very rude everytime I come in but the worst is recently when I was leaving the country I sent home a 10k parcel to the state's w some clothes, memorabilia and a tablet. I wrote on my details that I had it all in there and they never mentioned anything. 3 weeks after I leave a friend contacts me and says the package is returned to the address in aus w a note saying they can't send it because of certain things in there. So she goes down there and they tell her its the battery in the computer. She shows them that it can't be removed and they basically tell her she's s*** out of luck w no options. Mind you they never contacted me by email this entire time so if I hadn't had someone still living at the address I would of never known this situation was happening. I emailed them as well and they said they would respond within 2 business days. That was 5 days ago.now I have to have my friend take the tablet back to England w her and ship it from there. Such a pain
