All I can say is that if for some reason you find yourself in St Leonards and want to have a drink, don't come to this place. Well, I shouldn't be that harsh because it wasn't as if it was an absolute dive, but it certainly wasn't anything all that fantastic either. Sure, he staff were nice, but this is basically your typical pub with not real character whatsoever. I guess the only reason that I came here was to mark it off my list, but I have to say that it certainly isn't some place that is going to stick in my memory. As I said it isn't a bad pub, but it is more like one of those local watering holes that anybody can visit, and doesn't have anything that makes it stand out.
this place is pretty good for what it is.
Its a basic pub on the main road next to a train station. This makes it really easy to get to and from.
It is open late most nights, so always good to finish up there after a big night out in the city or a few wind down drinks after work.
staff are reasonably friendly. Food and drinks are reasonably priced.
Small pokies room.
Couple of pool tables.
Duke box.
Easy level access from the street.
Toilets inside.
Went out elsewhere and got to St Leonards Tavern to play pokies. And the girl working at bar there loudly yelled at me to get some manners because she think i didnt say 'please' when i order a beer. I didnt do anything wrong and she was rude and last thing i want to hear is young girl yelling at me to get manners after i spent a few hundreds of dollers. Worst experience ever and very upsetting.
