St Louis House of Fine Ice Cream & Dessert

It’s been great summer weather here in Adelaide lately, perfect for beach hang-outs and … Ice-cream! My friends and I did a beach session last weekend followed by a crave for ice-cream on the walk back to our cars. That day we decided to have St Louis as they certainly do have some good flavors. A new one I noticed was the Mascarpone with candied orange cannoli – quite different but it was delish so that was what I ended up with in my waffle cone on the walk back to the car! ;)

Each time I have been here, I have always left happy and with my sweet tooth satiated for the time being. The staff are always super friendly no matter how busy it is, which is always nice. So, down to the most important thing here, the food and drinks and everything in between. The icecreams are rich and delicious, with my favourite being the chocolate noir. Don't get me wrong, I love sweet things, but a dessert needs to have that perfect balance of sweetness, without being too sweet. St. Louis manages to achieve this with all of the menu items I have tried. This place has definitely become a summer, and even winter staple venue for desserts at the bay.
