I'm very fortunate to be both a staff member and parent of three children who've have and are attending St Rita's Catholic school. I am very proud to be a member of this community. Being lead by our Principal and caring staff our St Rita's our children are nurtured to attain the best learning, social individual needs always with our faith as the foundation of everything we do and share with all teachings based on Knowledge, Truth and Love. We all take pride in our school staff and children alike. Having moved from London arriving here in QLD, my family and I couldn't have found a better loving, catholic family community school to continue the support for my children by teaching them the skills they need to continue our lives. Why not check St Rita's school for yourself, I'm sure you will love it as well.
I love the community feel of the school and watching the children grow in all areas - education, sporting and socially. The teachers and staff are caring and my child is achieving all the goals needed to fit into this world. In the words of my child "I love going to St Rita's - we have the best school".
In our experience our children have enjoyed all aspects of the school. From before school cultural and sporting activities held by the teachers to lunch time activities. All that are available to the children. It certainly is a credit to the teachers that give of their time to give our children experiences. Their is a strong community bond established and not only an ethical and moral guide but one that will enable the children to take with them as they go on their different paths in their lives.
What has impressed me the most about St Rita's is the way that families are made to feel a part of the learning environment. I have been involved on various committees and every discussion is about what is best for the kids. I wish my primary school was like this when I was a kid - I wouldn't have my loved ones anywhere else!!!
