St Vincent De Paul Society

WOW outstandingly MEAN. My son is 4 he finds a character toy out of his favourite movie in a big box of plastic toys, he's excited, he asks me really politely for it. OK I think I've got a few other things so we go to the counter.BUT NO they say, he cannot have that because thats just stuff to play with.Ok well why don't you let me make a donation for it then. NO they say, if we give it to you then we have to give it to everyone. I look around the store, apart from a few old ladies rummaging in the back, I am the only one with kids in here.Its our policy they snap at us, its written on the box. Yeah but I doubt my son can read, I think. I say" this is a charity shop aren't you here to make money for charity, I am offering you a donation here for it" NO !!! they say. This is when I leave the stuff I was going to buy on the counter and leave. Merry Christmas. Oh yeah did I mention its three days before Christams.
