I have eaten here several times and can vouch for the quality of the range of salads. In the past I've had the Pumpkin & Fetta Salad, the Chicken Panzanella Salad also - both are good, with generous servings of their ingredients - particularly the Chicken Salad, which is very generous with the chicken. Today's visit delivered me the Prawn & Avocado Salad and once again, it was very good. Seriously generous servings of avocado with, lettuce, celery, onion and tomatoes and the prawns were plentiful too - it's a huge entree and a reasonable sized main course. The Bruschetta is nice too. Thank you.
I was starving when I arrived here for lunch. The location is really nice - next to the park in Darling Quarter between Chinatown and Cockle Bay/Darling Harbour. It's pretty big, with seating outside and inside. The service to be seated was quick, but ordering and delivery was not. The service staff must be aware of it because they're quite good and were repeatedly apologetic about it. I had the Vine Ripened Tomato Bruschetta - one piece of bread, heavy on the oily pesto with tomatoes and melted boccocini cheese - tasty but a bit oily. The Panzanella Chicken Salad was delicious, I enjoyed that a lot - lovely flavours, with a nice balance of chicken, rocket, croutons, pine nuts, sun dried tomatoes, celery and red onion. Very good. Coffee was really great, but again it seemed to take longer than necessary to come. I'd come back for more of that salad though. Note - the fastest thing to come was the bill.
