Our cat had a hurt leg so we rang before 8am in the hope for a answer. No answer so we drove there and waited on the footpath till 8.03am and still had not opened. So we rang and asked what time they open and were told 8am but could not see our cat till 9.20 so we walked a block back to the car and left. On the way past the vet we seen him walking around out in the driveway. Glad he had nothing more important to do as we did needing to go to work. Took the cart to the Vet on Appleby rd and they had us straight in worked out the cat was in a fight and given us antibiotics and we were gone in 25 minutes.

Our beloved pets have been patients of Paul. From first meeting him around 1994 when i was a teenager and we still bring our pets to him now in 2016.
He is so easy to talk to. No question is too silly. He has treated each one of our dogs with the same professional manner from our Cranky pup Staffy > stall cranky 17yo. Our beautiful Bulldog that required extensive surgery. Paul I'd everything and more to help her.
Most recently our 2 Staffy Female pups. One was so calm the other more dominant. Both recently desexed without breaking the bank.
We trust him whole heartedly.

Paul met our dog Banjo just after Christmas 2013 when we thought we were bringing him in to be put down due to a tumour on his eye. Paul advised that he thought the tumour could be removed, provided a quote for service which was extremely reasonable (and which was the charge in the end) but advised that, should it be worse then he thought, Banjo just wouldn't wake up. He advised that he would phone us once Banjo was awake. Banjo celebrated his 1st anniversary of surgery last month and is back to his full of beans self thanks to Paul's care.

Mr Purcell is an excellent vet. He really is like a family doctor. He works from home so his over heads are low. You deal with him .He listens to you and does not dismiss what you have to say. He is genuine and really cares for his patients. I would highly recommend him with out hesitation.

Paul is available, helpful and sensible with lots of experience. He is up to date with the latest epidemiology for vaccinations and stays up to date with his procedural sedation agents. Great no-nonsense bloke :)
