It’s a little late Bruce Your dodgy business ethics have been exposed and the local community is aware of your fraudulent behaviour. Not only do I have photos of the incomplete work but several messages stored from other locals with the exact same issues I had with you. Good luck to any poor person who has to deal with you. Not only will he ignore your calls/messages he will delete you off local Facebook pages he runs to ensure the word does not get out! Stay warned fellow neighbours!
Very quick to assess your job and take your money but once paid will not respond to calls or messages and will not complete the job. Be warned
Part 1. I've only just seen this vague/misleading review and must correct it AND provide the facts - something always lacking on reviews on sites like this.
I gave Maria a written quote to trim & remove part of a hedge. Cost $100, included removing 2 trees, giving the hedge a trim, disposal of green waste ($90 in total) and poisoning the 2 remaining tree stumps ($10). Quote accepted, work done the following week.

Part 2. Our agreement was payment on completion of work. Maria said come back to get the money tomorrow. I went around the next day & she wasn't home. Agreed to pick it up Saturday - again not home. After 2 weeks chasing her I was finally paid.
Everything ok up until this point. Then Maria started texting & ringing me all the time. When will you finish the job? I told her everything had been completed as agreed. She said the stumps had new growth on them, so I went around and poisoned them again (4th time - again no charge). She kept messaging me accusing me of taking her money without doing the work. I said that's rubbish & I had photos proving work was done.
Came out to assess job, told me it could be done within a day or two. Weeks later has failed to show up 4 times in a row, and then doesn't respond to phone calls or text messages. If you can't do the job, or the job is too small for you just say so. Just don't waste peoples time as we arranged for people to be home during these hours
