What an awful store. My husband took his Thomas Sabo bracelet there to be repaired. He was quoted AND given a receipt showing $40. When I went to collect we were told it was actually $60!! When I refused to pay the additional $20 she willfully and deliberately re-broke my husbands bracelet before handing it back to me claiming that it’s been returned in the condition we gave them. What an awful place. If I could give no stars I would.
Took my engagement ring to this store to get re sized and ask about wedding bands. I was told that the ring had been tampered with and was probably fake. When we asked for written statement, we were refused.
Devastated, we left to confront the person who sold it to us. They denied any wrong doing and asked for written proof. We went to another independent jeweller to have it tested. He told us it was genuine and after visiting two more jewellers we started to believe it!
So angry that the people at Stapletons didn't care that they had ruined one of the best days of our lives and used their "20 years of experience" as their only proof. Will never never ever shop here or recommend anyone to do so!
We were asked to check to see if her diamonds were real or not , when she had just purchased a brand new engagement ring which was not purchased at our store.
We checked the stones on our diamond tester they did not test as Diamonds we then suggested to the customer to take it back to where purchased, as again it wasn't our ring.
The cuastomer asked us to put this in writing as the diamonds were not tested by a valuer this is not something we can do and again refered the customer back to the jewellery store they purchased there brand new ring back to to sort out there concerns as to whether they were indeed diamonds in her ring.
It's very dissapointing to get such a review when we didn't sell the ring and only asked the prove her stones genuine from another store
