Stapletons

Got a nice, cosy, almost retro vibe, and judging by the number of people there on a week night it must be popular. I had mixed feelings about it though. The service was efficient, but a little gruff. The bottle of chardonnay we ordered seemed to be very poor quality, and my entree of calamari, while plentiful was a bit chewy and over battered. On the plus side though our entire table really enjoyed our mains and it made a nice change to go to a restaurant that wasn't Thai, Italian, or "modern Australian" (not that I have anything against them, its just that they seem to predominate our local eateries and sometimes you just want something different)

I was lucky enough to stumble upon this wonderful resturant whilst on my way home one night.

The food was truly wonderful and the service was very friendly.

I really do recommend the oven baked lamb, it was the best I've ever had.

It’s just a great family atmosphere and lovely winter warming food.

You won’t be disappointed and I'll defiantly be back for more.

The meat is great quality, the service is great, the food tastes great. Something different i recommend you all try it.
