SUSTAINABILITY DECLARATION:

As of January 1st 2010 new laws require all residential properties for sale in Queensland to have a
Sustainability Declaration completed and available for potential buyers to inspect.

HOME SUSTAINABILITY ASSESSMENTS

This is a FREE federal government initiative program to positively impact climate change.
Home Sustainability Assessors are trained, trustworthy professionals who have a working knowledge of how to improve a home�s environmental performance such as heating and cooling, energy consumption and water use. Home Sustainability Assessors visit your home, make an assessment of both the current performance of your house and your aspirations for improvements in environmental performance. The assessors will then provide professional and practical advice on affordable improvements that will make your home more comfortable, save you money and the environment.
Home Sustainability Assessment Scheme report once completed will give home owners access to the Government Green Loans program.

The Green Loans Program provides:
1. detailed, quality Home Sustainability Assessments; and
2. access to Green Loans of up to $10,000, that are interest free for up to a maximum of four years, to make the changes recommended in the assessment.
