Very bad experience with State road. was charged more than half inspection cost even I told them no need for inspection since the car was sold. the inspection guys shown up without checking with the dealer beforehand.

This is a great service for someone looking at buying a private or second hand car, even though I was a seller, I would recommend for anyone purchasing a car.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I engaged this company to do a pre-purchase inspection. The inspector seemed to have a personal problem with the staff selling the car, and gave a report that said the car had been in a major accident and had filler in the door pillar. I had the car inspected by the manufacturer who assured me the car had not been in an accident. I contacted state Roads about a refund. They told me it was non-refundable. I could not believe this, as they had provided me a completely useless, unprofessional report. ,they had my money and there would be no refund. I was shellshocked that a company would act in this way. I now make it a point to share this experience with anyone considering using their service. I will never use them again, and would recommend anyone else.
