Cannot be relied upon. 3 contractors couldn't organise the appointment, all had different orders, to install, remove, replace ....what a mess.

I was a bit disappointed with Stegbar and didn't end up using their services. I knew them from The Block and was keen to use them for some new cupboard doors and a shower screen. The sale staff arrived on time and was very friendly and seemed extremely through with the measuring. However, I was very upset when they said I couldn't have a frame-less shower screen (apparently the space wasn't appropriate) and would instead need semi frame-less. This contradicted the other two quotes I received and sent me into over driving getting more quotes and calling the other two companies and asking probing questions. After being reassured many times by multiple different installers I did end up getting the frame-less shower screen and it looks great. Also, Stegbar (even with the semi-frame-less) was more expensive!
Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I was told 2 weeks for a shower screen and 6 weeks later I still have no screen. I've been way too patient with them and am now resorting to telling as many people I can to never use them. They lost my order and tried to hide this from me. No apology offered. Glass finally arrived 6 weeks later then they cancelled the appointment to install after I'd taken the day off work. Said they would call to arrange a Saturday installation but 24 hrs later no call. Of course when I chased up I was told saturday installation not possible. When I complained they said customer service would call me but I'm still waiting. Shocking company, don't use them.
